Google Chrome is a cross-platform web browser developed by Google. It was first released in 2008 for Microsoft Windows, built with free software components from Apple WebKit and Mozilla Firefox. It was later ported to Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android, where it is the default browser. Today it is a widely used Web Browser across the globe. But ever thought, how can Chrome be used in Linux? No? Don’t worry. Today we will tell you how you can enjoy Chrome browser in your Linux OS.

1. The first step is to update the packages on your os:

sudo apt-get update && apt-get upgrade

2. Now you need to download the Debian file for chrome :

wget https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb

3. Now we need to install chrome from the file we downloaded. To do so;

apt install ./google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb

The installation will take a while!

4. After the installation is complete, you are ready to launch your chrome. Do so by typing the below command:

google-chrome --no-sandbox
