
Twitch a popular Streaming Platform owned by Amazon has suffered from a Data Breach Last Week, 125GB of data was stolen from Twitch Servers including the source code, Payment details of Streamers, after some days Twitch Updated an advisory and said they have reset all stream keys

This News came to notice after an anonymous attacker exposed the file on the 4chan website, the data is publically exposed by the hacker, This is probably the most disturbing thing among Streamers the leak not only contain the source code of the Platform but also exposed the personal details, top streamers earning details and the plans of upcoming products by the company
However, the company claimed that they did not store any Full credit card information and claimed that there weren’t any indication of login credentials have been exposed, the company advised users via email to reset the Streaming keys
In the blog post, the company said
We have learned that some data was exposed to the internet due to an error in a Twitch server configuration change that was subsequently accessed by a malicious third party. Our teams are working with urgency to investigate the incident.
According to Cyber Security experts, the attacker has gained access to the company’s internal GitHub repositories and dumped all the source code including internal security auditing tools
